And he sent her away for two months: and she went with her companions, and bewailed her virginity upon the mountains.

And they found Adonibezek in Bezek: and they fought against him, and they slew the Canaanites and the Perizzites. And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years. And the children of Israel repented them for Benjamin their brother, and said, There is one tribe cut off from Israel this day. And all the men of Shechem gathered together, and all the house of Millo, and went, and made Abimelech king, by the plain of the pillar that was in Shechem. LORD, when thou wentest out of Seir, when thou marchedst out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped, the clouds also dropped water. And God did so that night: for it was dry upon the fleece only, and there was dew on all the ground.

Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing. Now the house was full of men and women; and all the lords of the Philistines were there; and there were upon the roof about three thousand men and women, that beheld while Samson made sport. And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude. And the angel of God said unto him, Take the flesh and the unleavened cakes, and lay them upon this rock, and pour out the broth. And he did so.
