And Abimelech rose up, and all the people that were with him, by night, and they laid wait against Shechem in four companies. And the whole congregation sent some to speak to the children of Benjamin that were in the rock Rimmon, and to call peaceably unto them. Speak, ye that ride on white asses, ye that sit in judgment, and walk by the way. Yet he restored the money unto his mother; and his mother took two hundred shekels of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a graven image and a molten image: and they were in the house of Micah. And when the men of the city arose early in the morning, behold, the altar of Baal was cast down, and the grove was cut down that was by it, and the second bullock was offered upon the altar that was built. Howbeit the king of the children of Ammon hearkened not unto the words of Jephthah which he sent him.

And the Levite, the husband of the woman that was slain, answered and said, I came into Gibeah that belongeth to Benjamin, I and my concubine, to lodge.
