But when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised them up a deliverer, Ehud the son of Gera, a Benjamite, a man lefthanded: and by him the children of Israel sent a present unto Eglon the king of Moab. Then came the woman in the dawning of the day, and fell down at the door of the man’s house where her lord was, till it was light. The trees went forth on a time to anoint a king over them; and they said unto the olive tree, Reign thou over us. And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.
