And Gaal went out before the men of Shechem, and fought with Abimelech. And the land had rest forty years. And Othniel the son of Kenaz died. But Ehud made him a dagger which had two edges, of a cubit length; and he did gird it under his raiment upon his right thigh.
And Samson said unto her, If they bind me with seven green withs that were never dried, then shall I be weak, and be as another man. And his concubine that was in Shechem, she also bare him a son, whose name he called Abimelech. But the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together out of the cities unto Gibeah, to go out to battle against the children of Israel. And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the fleece together, and wringed the dew out of the fleece, a bowl full of water. And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands. And Abimelech chased him, and he fled before him, and many were overthrown and wounded, even unto the entering of the gate.
